Infant Care

6 weeks – 16 months

Quality Care designed for you and your baby

Kids Inc strives to provide a warm home like Christian environment for your child. To give your baby the individualized care you desire, we keep each baby on his/her own schedule. This provides consistency between home and childcare. Each baby will have his/her own crib and a place for personal belongings. Daily notes are sent home letting you know about your child’s day. These notes include: any special happenings, what your child ate, when they were diapered, if and when any medication or first aid needed to be administered, how your child slept and what or who they played with during their day.

We have a public health nurse visit the infant room each month. This person answers any questions the staff may have and check the room to make sure we are following safety and sanitary procedures. These visits help us provide the highest quality of care for your precious child.

Your child will grow and learn at Kids Inc.

Here is a sample of some of the activities your baby will experience as they grow…

  • Always lots of hugs and smiles
  • Listening and moving to music
  • Storybooks…babies are read to one on one and have their first opportunities to experience books on their own.
  • Creative expression…caregivers will start you child on the road to creative expression through colors, play dough, painting and other materials as are appropriate for their age.
  • Sensory experience…children love to feel new things. The infants will explore with close supervision, water play, cotton balls, goo, and other materials, as the caregivers feel appropriate.
  • Large muscles are developing quickly for infants…they will have lots of opportunity to climb, crawl and move. We have riding toys, big balls, a climber, exersaucer, and as well as outdoor time provided to promote large motor skills.
